A celebration of Italian cuisine

Located on the corner of Montgomery and Pacific Avenues in San Francisco’s historic Jackson Square, Cotogna is an Italian restaurant known for housemade pastas, spit-roasted and grilled meats, and seafood roasted in the restaurant’s wood-burning oven. The word ‘cotogna’ is Italian for ‘quince.’ The restaurant is a more casual and convivial counterpart to Chef Michael and Lindsay Tusk’s decorated fine dining restaurant next door.


The menu changes daily according to what’s growing at local farms, including Fresh Run in Bolinas.

Cotogna at Home

Chef Michael Tusk offers a daily-changing menu of cook-at-home items and prepared foods; including housemade pasta, ragus and sauces, curated meal kits and family meals. For special occasions and holidays we offer speciality and luxury items for your celebration at home.

Over the course of the pandemic, we have continued to implement the latest CDC recommended health screening practices, installed new technologies for enhanced air filtration, ventilation and purification to mitigate the spread of virus and ensure the safety of our guests and employees. In keeping with local regulation, we offer contactless pick up and delivery.

Plan a virtual wine or cooking class, cater for your holiday dinner or join us in the country at our Farm in Bolinas.
