Located on the corner of Montgomery and Pacific Avenues in San Francisco’s historic Jackson Square, Cotogna is an Italian restaurant known for housemade pastas, spit-roasted and grilled meats, and seafood roasted in the restaurant’s wood-burning oven. The word ‘cotogna’ is Italian for ‘quince.’ The restaurant is a more casual and convivial counterpart to Chef Michael and Lindsay Tusk’s decorated fine dining restaurant next door.
The menu changes daily according to what’s growing at local farms, including Fresh Run in Bolinas.

Our dining room and outdoor terrace is also available for exclusive use. Plan a virtual wine or cooking class, cater for your holiday dinner or join us in the country at our Farm in Bolinas. Fresh Run Farm, or at a location of your choosing, we will bring the Cotogna experience to you.
Over the course of the pandemic, we have continued to implement the latest CDC recommended health screening practices, installed new technologies for enhanced air filtration, ventilation and purification to mitigate the spread of virus and ensure the safety of our guests and employees. In keeping with local regulation, we offer contactless pick up and delivery.
